200 el-bees

For three straight days now I've tipped the scale at a consistent 200 lbs. Which means I've lost 15.2 lbs in 3 short weeks, and have come better than halfway to my goal of getting down to 185 lbs. I'm pretty psyched about that.

Unchanged in in Vegas...

I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I hopped on the scale and found out I hadn't gained a bit of weight while I was in Vegas. Truth be told I kept the food and drink intake under control - I even managed 2.2 mile run up an down the strip Sunday morning. Back to the grind now though...

Another 2.2lbs

So it seems that decreasing one's food intake, and increasing one's energy consumption causes one to start losing weight, and if the changes are big enough the weight loss is apparently pretty rapid (like 3.2 lbs per day rapid).

Christina thinks this is too fast, and I'd tend to agree with her if I thought I could maintain this pace, but the fact is I had a big weekend, and spiked up to all-time highs by Monday morning, and now I'm spiking back down.
