Etiquette

Some simple etiquette rules I try to follow (and you should consider) so everyone can play nice on the shared resource:
  1. You are not the only climber at the Lake and climbers are not the only user-group at the Lake - act accordingly.
  2. Do not block trails with your body, your gear or your TR setup.
  3. Clean up after yourself and others - pickup trash, erase tick-marks, clean excessive chalk, etc. Leave no trace.
  4. Keep the noise level down - not everyone wants to hear you tossing a wobbler or shares your taste in music.
  5. Leaders and soloists have the right of way.
  6. If you plan on keeping a top rope rigged on a route all day, then make sure it is bomber and share it with others.
  7. Leave the pins and drills at home.
  8. About that FA you think you did.
  9. Keep group size small. Guides, please take groups larger than four clients somewhere quiet and out of the way - they will have more fun and so will everyone else.
  10. Have fun and do not take yourself too seriously - you willingly participate in this absurdity.
  11. BE SAFE - Getting hurt or dying is not fun and aside from causing us all heartache it jeopardizes access for everyone.
