- You are not the only climber at the Lake and climbers are not the only user-group at the Lake - act accordingly.
- Do not block trails with your body, your gear or your TR setup.
- Clean up after yourself and others - pickup trash, erase tick-marks, clean excessive chalk, etc. Leave no trace.
- Keep the noise level down - not everyone wants to hear you tossing a wobbler or shares your taste in music.
- Leaders and soloists have the right of way.
- If you plan on keeping a top rope rigged on a route all day, then make sure it is bomber and share it with others.
- Leave the pins and drills at home.
- About that FA you think you did.
- Keep group size small. Guides, please take groups larger than four clients somewhere quiet and out of the way - they will have more fun and so will everyone else.
- Have fun and do not take yourself too seriously - you willingly participate in this absurdity.
- BE SAFE - Getting hurt or dying is not fun and aside from causing us all heartache it jeopardizes access for everyone.
Etiquette
Some simple etiquette rules I try to follow (and you should consider) so everyone can play nice on the shared resource:
